National Psychology Week is an APS initiative that aims to increase public awareness of how psychology can help people and communities lead healthier, happier and more meaningful lives.
Each November, hundreds of Australian psychologists across the country run public NPW events such as morning and afternoon teas, displays, forums, presentations and seminars to highlight psychology and its contribution to the Australian community.
The APS also conducts a national survey each year to highlight stress and wellbeing in Australia. Read the 2012 survey results here.
National Psychology Week 2013 will be held from 10-16 November.
