The Prize is intended to epitomize and encourage the professional values, teaching and practice of Ian M Campbell (1941-1987). The Prize seeks to promote and encourage excellence in clinical psychology and to reward and encourage psychologists as ‘scientist-practitioners’, for their contribution in research, therapy and / or social applicability. The Prize is awarded annually to an APS member who has made an outstanding contribution to the scientific or professional status of clinical psychology in Australia.
