Motor and traffic accidents

If you have been injured in a road accident and require the services of a psychologist as part of your recovery, your state or territory government may fund the cost of the psychological service. This is administered through a government insurance agency, such as the Traffic Accident Commission in Victoria. Once you have made a claim to the agency, you will be referred to a psychologist. Contact your relevant agency to determine if it covers psychological services:

Workcover

If you have been injured at work or in the course of carrying out your work, you may require the services of a psychologist as part of your recovery. In some states and territories WorkCover will refer you to a psychologist once your claim has been approved, and cover the cost of your consultations for a specified period of time. Contact your relevant agency to determine if it covers psychological services:
