Each year The Australian Psychological Society (APS) collates abstracts from Australian psychology conferences for publication on CD-ROM and online as the Combined Abstracts of (Year) Australian Psychology Conferences.
Following the APS Annual Conference in late September/early October the APS distributes the publication (CD-ROM) to delegates of all participating conferences.
To facilitate this publication time line, the formatted abstracts (maximum 350 words each) from participating conferences need to be received by the start of July, along with:
A signed Licence to Use Copyright form for each abstract must be also submitted to the APS. The APS requires that the (principle) author grant the Society a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display and store the abstract worldwide in all forms (including on the Society's website), formats and media now known or as developed in the future, including print, electronic and digital forms.
The author/s will retain copyright of their abstract, in addition to the moral rights they are entitled to as author/s of the abstract. Submission of the signed Licence to Use Copyright form is a condition of publication.
