State newsletters

PsychNews state and territory newsletters are published by the APS to provide members with relevant local news about activities and issues affecting psychology and psychologists.

PsychNews is published in March, May, July, September and November (alternate months to the national members' magazine, InPsych). PsychNews is distributed to each APS member in one of two ways - hard copy print in the mail or online PDF.

PsychNews is distributed mid-month, so please ensure advertising, inserts and editorial contributions are relevant to this timing eg. the May edition should promote activities and events taking place during late May and June or report in past tense about activities and events in April and early May.

Information regarding advertising and insert rates, booking deadlines, artwork specifications and terms and conditions can be found on the PsychNews Advertising booking form (see below). Insert print quantities (which vary for each state and each issue), mailhouse delivery details and delivery labels will be provided once insert artwork has been approved.

Editorial

Editorial contributions of professional interest to psychologists (up to 350 words) may be submitted direct to editors for possible inclusion. Publication of articles is not guaranteed and contributions may be edited.

• 7 June - July edition
• 9 August - September edition
• 8 October - November edition
